Easy Sidewalk Paint

It's Sunday and it is finally not too hot. Little B wanted to help dad with the deck but a 3 year old helping can kind of hinder the process of painting a deck...

So, I made some sidewalk paint. Mind you, this is not my recipe, I have seen it on a few blogs. Super easy and cheap! I let B help me mix them. He loves to cook! I will make bigger containers next time as the fun lasted about 8 minutes until the dumping began.

Easy Sidewalk Paint
- equal parts cornstarch and water
-food coloring
-brushes
-containers ( I used applesauce ones)
- something to carry it all in ( optional)

Mix the equal parts cornstarch and water. Add food coloring. Tada!

They take a little time to get going. I might add a little more cornstarch next time. Also, our back porch slab isn't very smooth like the driveway.

A little dumping.

A very serious painting face. He really did have fun. I promise.

Here's to the deck being done soon!

How was your weekend?
