TTT ( Time with Toddler Today) + Some Resolutions

There is just something about the hours between 4:30 and 7:00 that creep by ssssllllloooowly for moms....

I have found myself saying the word 'no' a lot today. I cringe at how many times I said it. Today the husband went back to work after some much needed time off and so it was challenging watching Bay and trying to work on some projects. 4 accidents today. 2 up from yesterday. I try not to keep score on the potty training.  Lots of toddler saying ' no' and me retorting with 'stop climbing that dear.' We sat down and had some quiet time reading the Grinch. We did have a great time in the snow which was highlight of the day.

In any case, I am working on my New Year's resolutions:

•  One I think will be to read at least 6 books a day to Giraffe. We already read 3 at bedtime so, I just need to incorporate 3 more into the day. I think that is so doable.

•  Another, to work on creating a more positive environment for our family. This can mean many many things, like tidying up the clutter, neglecting facebook, giving Giraffe more space in the house to be a toddler and relinquishing my Martha ways. Realizing that money isn't everything and working on living in the present.  I thought about making a little deck of cards with something to work on weekly. We shall see. I have some lofty goals... 

In closing on my ranty sorta post today, there wasn't a ton of time online the computer today so- just a pretty photo of a lovely Christmas gift we got from my Aunt Beth, how fitting since today is her birthday.
