Giveaway: A Sweet Little Dress...for mama!

I rarely buy myself clothes. When I do they are Savers, Target or sale rack at Old Navy. This year was the first year since my college Uggs that I paid full price for a pair of shoes. I know, SAD. With Giraffe I have assigned myself the task of devoting all my little fashion funds to him. What can I say I love euro kids clothes. I digress from my giveaway... anyway, we mamas need attention too right? Right?

Shabby Apple is a collection of stylish women's dresses that make dressing simple. They even carry chic little girls dresses. Designers Emily and CK couldn't find the perfect dress and so they created many! I love their motto about Shabby Apple: "A return to what dresses were always meant to be — a one-piece outfit. No need to add anything...no tank tops, no cardigans, nothing (except accessories, of course!)." Isn't that refreshing?

Shabby Apple was kind enough to offer me the chance to giveaway one beautiful dress!

I chose Mariposa Grove ( Retail Value $85). This sweet little dress reminded me of Judy Garland, my idol. It just screams Summerstock with Judy and Gene!  So simple with lovely detail about the neck. It has a generous fit and can be worn by many different body types.  I am love with the Kelly Green color.

  2. If I win this dress, I plan to wear it my friend's summer wedding at the end of July. It's so perfect because you can be modest without having to hunt for the perfect little cardigan to cover up.

  6. I'm just following you all over the place now! Of course I'm following you on blogger. Of course I am fan of Shabby Apole on Facebook now. I've already looked for elf-sized dresses. Sadly, they are all too big still. We have an upcoming wedding in NH and I was planning on wearing my "Republican dress." (Okay. It's really a super cute Lily Pullitzer dress, but I feel conservative in it!) This plan was foiled when I tried the dress on and realized that it's much less conservative (and flattering) now that the elf is here. This gorgeous dress would be much appreciated as lovely dresses tend to fall outside of my $3 per piece clothing budget!

  19. Let's be honest.. I love new clothes but NEVER get to get any for myself. I spend all my money on my boys. That being said we're going on vacation in 2 weeks and I would love something new and cute to wear! After vacation is over I would wear it around just so it looked like I had some place special to be at.

    I definitely follow your blog!

Sometimes us mamas get into a rut! Like many others my money is usually spent on my precious little boy, leaving me feeling just a little frumpy.

I'd wear this dress on any regular day just to feel a little spruced up :) who knows...maybe I can convince my husband to take me out to dinner :)

  23. Just cleaned out my closet of too big/out of style/doesn't-match-anything-else clothes and could TOTALLY use a cute dress like this! Would wear it anywhere, a dress and flip-flops will be my hot weather uniform this year. :)
